Information Centre Station Area

What would be a better location for the Station Area Information Centre than in the station area itself? Outside you can see the current situation, while inside you can see what it will be like in the future. Read the information panels on the walls, look at the atmosphere images of how thing might look in the future and experience the future of the station area through an audiovisual presentation.

Activities

The Project organisation Station Area organises presentations and tours through the Station Area. Passing Vredenburg square, shoppingmall Hoog Catharijne, the new Public Transport Terminal and the Westsquare, tour guides offer insight into the future redevelopment of the area. Duration of the tour is approximately 2 hours and starts at the Infocentre Station Area with a presentation of the Master Plan.

After the guided tour, there are scale models and sketch drawings available in the Infocentre for further enlightenment. Prime piece is the 3D-environment of the Station Area (largest of the Netherlands). You're able to move around freely trough this virtual reality image of the future Station Area.
